How do you announce that everyone’s favorite nighttime Lottery game now has a second, daytime draw time? By anthropomorphizing the cutest nocturnal critter to share the exciting news, of course!

Working with Meg Chamlee on this concept and seeing it come to life with The Norman Brothers’ direction as this fun, vibrant television spot was so rewarding.

Hispanic History Month 2021

Illustration, Art Direction

CLIENT
PPK

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, PPK wanted to highlight the stories of some of its Hispanic employees. This set of designs was an opportunity to inject some of my own Hispanic heritage and draw inspiration from the mola art of the Kuna people of Panama, where my mother is from.

International bakery product supplier Lantmännen Unibake asked PPK to update their photography and create a new layout for their product catalog. Javier Quintana and I worked closely with Nutmeg Imageworks and Kathy Zurlich to shoot beautiful, timeless photos of their artisan products.

I was involved in every step of this catalog—pre-production to dressing the sets during the shoot to laying out the product catalog using our new photos.

28% of LGBTQ+ youth reported experiencing homelessness or housing instability at some point in their lives, according to The Trevor Project.

The Rose Dynasty Foundation is an incredible organization that serves these at-risk LGBTQ+ youth in Tampa Bay by connecting them with resources and mentorship. PPK connected with them to raise community awareness of this overseen demographic and the resources Rose Dynasty provides.

The campaign included a social video spot, a poster series (designed by Alan Schneller), and a brochure that was posted in high-traffic areas of Downtown Tampa.

Scratch Series XTREME Marketing & Social Activation

The most extreme Florida Lottery ticket demanded the MOST XTREME marketing campaign. I designed the point-of-sale marketing pieces to support the television spot.

Our social activation was a video series documenting scratching the X the Cash family of tickets while riding in a racecar going at extreme speeds.

Being a one-person wardrobe (even hand-customizing the helmets and denim coveralls), makeup, and art department for this production was challenging but so rewarding!
